RAL colours are available in both ColourTEK and powder coated finishes.
Please note that our ColourTEK system can reproduce any colour for our products, not only the trade colours displayed above.
Due to various reasons, an accurate virtual representation of a RAL colour is not always possible. Physical colour swatches have painted representations of colours, and these can be found at any PlatinumNRG dealer.
Aluminium ‘Heritage’ is a replacement for slim original timber and steel windows with a modern, secure and energy-efficient alternative. The slim sight-lines offered by this range are much closer to original period windows thanks to the strength and rigidity of aluminium. Even our slimmest PVCu windows are double the width of our aluminium which in many instances, especially on smaller windows, is unacceptable.
Our aluminium window systems use a polyamide or extruded PVCu break between the inner and outer parts of the window or door to avoid ’bridging’. Thermal ’bridging’ is where the cold is conducted indoors and the heat generated indoors is conducted back out.
There are two profile designs that define our ‘Heritage’ range. The puttyline sash of the AW614 as a replacement for original timber windows and the stepped sash of the AW686 which emulates original steel windows.
A multi-point locking system is fitted as standard and tested to PAS 24 and upgradeable to Secured by Design specification if required.
Glazing options are available to cover optimal insulation, solar gain and acoustic dampening qualities in a double glazed format up to 32mm in depth.
Outer frames of either 58mm or 70mm in a choice of designs can be specified.
A wide range of single, dual-colour and anodised finishes are available.
