MODERN RANGE
‘Modern’ aluminium windows are simpler and cleaner in appearance and due to their inherent strength can be much slimmer than a PVCu equivalent. Almost exclusively used on modern homes, they are perfect for large panoramic windows as much as they are for smaller openings where more incoming light is needed.

RAL colour visualiser
RAL colours are available in both ColourTEK and powder coated finishes.
Please note that our ColourTEK system can reproduce any colour for our products, not only the trade colours displayed above.
Due to various reasons, an accurate virtual representation of a RAL colour is not always possible. Physical colour swatches have painted representations of colours, and these can be found at any PlatinumNRG dealer.
Our aluminium window systems use a polyamide or extruded PVCu break between the inner and outer parts of the window or door to avoid ’bridging’. Thermal ’bridging’ is where the cold is conducted indoors and the heat generated indoors is conducted back out.
Our Modern range of aluminium windows feature the AW685 flat-faced sash or the AW690 chamfered puttyline sash. Both designs feature a sight-line as slim as just 64mm.
A multi-point locking system is fitted as standard and tested to PAS 24 and upgradeable to Secured by Design specification if required.
Glazing options are available to cover optimal insulation, solar gain and acoustic dampening qualities in a double glazed format up to 32mm in depth.
Outer frames of either 58mm or 70mm in a choice of designs can be specified.
A wide range of single, dual-colour and anodised finishes are available.
For full details on this product, including all the hardware options, please see the specific brochure.
